Who am I ?
In 1987, I left with friends on a 2-month trip to Mali and Senegal. We were 20 years old and didn't have much money. A first real discovery of another continent, fascinating encounters, another way of looking at the world... But also frustration: I came back knowing that I didn't want to be a "tourist" anymore.
I did a Masters in FLE (French as a Foreign Language) at the University of Montpellier, in order to teach French to foreigners and abroad, as well as to immerse myself in the culture of others: 2 years in Hungary at the Institut Français of Budapest and at Linguarama; 6 months in Israel at the Institut Français of Tel Aviv; 3 years in Bolivia at the Alliance Française of Santa Cruz and at the University of G.R. Moreno; and, since 1999, in Denmark, where I teach from September to April at the Institut Français of Copenhagen.
In 2002, I also took up university studies again, via distance learning, and did an Mlitt in Cultural Studies at Strathclyde University-UK. This provided me with yet another foreign experience: learning to think and to analyze in another language.
Since 2006, I divide my time between Denmark and France. In 2007 I created Méditerranez-vous! in Montpellier. With its friendly atmosphere, it welcomes those who wish to learn French differently and discover a different France...
